What makes this particularly important is that Mr Wilders is planning to *visit* Australia sometime within the next year. So the call for his beheading is most likely intended for Muslims in Australia. It's not just general Muslim threatening and ranting; it's a specific call to arms and I hope that ASIO and the Australian Federal Police will take it very, very seriously.
Mr Feiz Mohammed was *born* in Sydney. Seems to me that the ancient punishment of Exile needs to be revived, for people like him.
I suspect this latest death threat may be the Muslim response to the SBS Dateline program about Geert Wilders to which attention was drawn right here on NER on 1 September.
I gather the show got an enormous reaction. There were Comments attached to it on the SBS website; 500 and counting, last I looked. Lots of visitors from the Netherlands dropped in to have their say - most in support of Geert, some (many of whom I would suspect to be Muslim) condemning him. The comments from Australians were generally favourable. There was an agree/ disagree button you could click to indicate what you thought of each comment; I observed that the pro-Wilders comments had lots of people agreeing with them, and the anti-Wilders comments were NOT popular.
